By being mindful, you begin to realise that your thoughts do not define you or control you, they simply are. By observing your thoughts in this kind of detached manner, you can begin to disassociate from them and let go of stress and anxiety.
Being present in the moment is incredibly empowering. It means focusing your awareness on the here and now. It means accepting and understanding that each moment is meant to be experienced now because tomorrow really never comes. Living in the present moment can completely transform your life.

Mindfulness-based stress reduction has been described as "a group program that focuses upon the progressive acquisition of mindful awareness, of mindfulness."
The MBSR program is an eight-week workshop, consisting of weekly group meetings, homework, and instruction in three formal techniques: mindfulness meditation, movement and self regulation.
The practice helps you become more aware of your reactive nature and helps guide you to becoming more mindfully responsive. Reducing stress in exchange for peace of mind and more present focused lifestyle.

A weekly course of 1 to 1.5 hour sessions, looking at how small, consistent changes and practices can help reduce the effect of stress for a healthier future. Each session will include mindfulness meditation, movement, guidance on achieving balance and self regulation, with some homework to fully embed your new Mindfulness practice into daily life.

Fortnightly Guided Mindfulness

Perfect for students who have graduated the MBSR workshop and wish to continue their practice with others. A simple 1 hour session where we will meditate, perform a guided body scan together before some simple guided movement. This will help keep your mindfulness practice fresh, and relevant to where you are in life.
